Keiran Goddard is a British novelist.[1], poet and social commentator.

Goddard was born in 1984 and grew up in Shard End, Birmingham. He studied English at the University of Oxford

His debut novel, Hourglass[2], was published in 2022[3] by Hachette Book Group[4] in UK, Europa Editions in Italy, United States and Canada and was listed for the Desmond Elliott Prize[5]

His second novel, I See Buildings Fall Like Lightening[6], will be published in 2023.

Goddard is the author of three collections of poetry, Strings, For the Chorus, and Votive[7], which have been shortlisted for the Melita Hulme prize[8] and the William Blake Prize.

Goddard is represented by Clare Conville at United Talent Agency.

His academic research interests include worker rights, automation and philanthropy.

Goddard currently lives in North London.
