Keharpura Kalan is a small village of 399 hectares in Chirawa Tehsil in Jhunjhunu district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Keharpura Kalan depends on CHIRAWA, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Keharpura Kalan is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Keharpura Kalan's pin code is 333028[4], and village code is 00711400. The area of Keharpura Kalan is segregated as 241.1 hectares irrigated area, 94.12 hectares unirrigated, the 46.09 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 18.05 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of CHIRAWA and Jhunjhunu to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
