Keeratpura is a small village of 697 hectares in Baswa Tehsil in Dausa district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Keeratpura depends on Bandikui, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, Two canals and Two springs. Keeratpura is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Keeratpura's pin code is 303313[4], and village code is 01346300. The area of Keeratpura is segregated as 199.05 hectares irrigated area, 190.02 hectares unirrigated, the 245.01 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 63 hectare area not available for cultivation.
