Kaydah King (born September 4, 1991) is a Haitian-American entrepreneur and a hip hop artist best known for his melodic songs and compositions under the record label We Make Hitz.[1] Making Moves, Propane, and Pressure are some of his notable works. King has 11,300 followers on Instagram, and his music is available on Spotify,[2] SoundCloud[3] and Apple Music.[4]
King is also the founder of Smoove Iconz, a lifestyle apparel brand based in New York.[5]
Early life and education
King was born in Brooklyn, New York, USA, on September 4, 1991. He was sent to Haiti after a few years, where his aunt Rose raised him. Upon turning 11, he was brought back to New York by his mother. A cultural shift hit King after coming to Jamaica, Queens, in the form of a language barrier. To overcome it, he devoted himself to learning the English language. He realized that the only way to make it easier to learn the language was through hip hop and R&B music. This episode of his life made him fall in love with music.
King had also been a football player and played for the UB Bulls football team. However, one fine day, he ended up getting injured while playing. This was the second episode that gave wings to his new passion, which got him started on creating music.
Career
King is a hip-hop artist who has made a name for himself in Buffalo, New York. After identifying his true passion for music, King started producing his own songs under his record label, We Make Hitz. He has composed ten songs so far, which include Making Moves, Propane, Fiends, We On, Pressure, and Ice Cream, to name a few.[6][7]
Besides music, King is also an online entrepreneur who runs a lifestyle apparel brand called Smoove Iconz. He also has a keen interest in the real estate industry.
