Kauhara is a small village of 379 hectares in Baberu Tehsil in Banda district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Kauhara depends on Baberu (NP), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply, One tank, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Kauhara's pin code is 210121[4], and village code is 04818800. The area of Kauhara is segregated as 260 hectares irrigated area, 103 hectares unirrigated area. the 6 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves) and remaining 31 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Kauhara has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Kauhara is a census village in the district of Banda, Uttar Pradesh. The village has a total population of 996 and has total administration over 179 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Baberu (NP) and Banda to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
