Kaudiya is a small village of 325 hectares in Nizamabad Tehsil in Azamgarh district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Kaudiya depends on Phulpur (NP), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply, One tubewell and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Kaudiya's pin code is 276305[4], and village code is 08741200. The area of Kaudiya is segregated as 225 hectares irrigated area, 39 hectares unirrigated area. the 30 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves) and remaining 31 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Kaudiya has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Phulpur (NP) and Azamgarh to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
