Katumbi is a small village of 1563 hectares in Banswara Tehsil in Banswara district, also known as City of Hundred Islands in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Katumbi depends on Banswara, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 5.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Katumbi is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Katumbi's pin code is 327001[4], and village code is 03437800. The area of Katumbi is segregated as 81 hectares irrigated area, 454 hectares unirrigated, the 293 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 452 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Katumbi is a census village in the district of Banswara, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 2152 and has total administration over 438 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Banswara to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
