Katrina Sarah Ssangalyambogo (born 4 July 2001, in London)[1] is a swimmer, orator, and dancer.
Early life and sports
Born in London, Ssangalyambogois the first daughter of Queen Sylvia Naginda and her husband Kabaka Ronald Muwenda Mutebi, the king of Buganda. She was introduced to the royal clansmen of Buganda in October 2001 at Namasole Zirimbuga palace.[2]
Ssangalyambogo started school at Kabira Junior Academy, Kampala International School and later went to Peponi School in Nairobi for her high school before joining the University of Nottingham where she studied Business Management, graduating in July 2023.[3][4] She shared how she had a studying disorder but managed to overcome all those challenges and achieve graduation.[5][6]
Ssangalyambogo made the Ugandan national swim team at tryouts that were held at Greenhill Academy in 2014.[7][8] She also urges parents to support their children in arts and not necessarily education and points out how her parents have been very supportive of her. She plays volleyball and basketball, and has a keen interest in football and is a staunch Manchester United F.C.|Manchester United supporter.[9]

Ssangalyambogo currently works as a sports analyst at a sporting marketing agency.[10]
