Katri Teller (born on November 10th, 1981, in Tallinn) is an Estonian TV and radio host, accomplished podcaster, and motivational speaker. Once labeled as the stupidest child in her school, she has transformed her life and built a successful international career. Additionally, Teller has achieved financial independence through real estate investments and was awarded the title of Investor of the Year in 2023 by Äripäev, a prominent Estonian business newspaper. She is fluent in Estonian, English, and Finnish.

Education

Teller initially began her studies at Tallinn Muusikakeskkool but later switched to Keila Gümnaasium after struggling to keep up with violin classes. In 9th grade, her grades were poor, resulting in her repeating the class. However, she excelled the second time and finished as the top student in her class. At the age of 28, Teller enrolled in the Estonian Business School, where she pursued a degree in Entrepreneurship and International Business Management, graduating with honors in 2012.

Career

Teller started working at the age of 15 while residing in Paldiski. Following high school, she worked for several years at an advertising agency before transitioning to the spirits industry in 2005. Starting from 2013, she held management positions for the Nordic and Baltic countries at Campari Group, a multinational corporation. Throughout her career, Teller has lived in Milan, London, Stockholm, and Helsinki. Amidst the COVID-19 pandemic in 2021, Teller decided to pursue her dreams and launched her first solo podcast called "Blondcast," with a primary aim to empower women. It quickly gained popularity, becoming the number one podcast in Estonia. A year later, she secured her own radio show on Raadio 2, which is part of the Estonian National Broadcasting, as well as a prime time talk-show called "Stuudio" on TV3. In late 2022, Teller co-launched a new podcast called "Rahareede" (Money Friday) alongside economist Kristjan Liivamägi, which has currently become the most popular podcast in Estonia. Teller is dedicated to empowering women and uses her own life as an example to showcase that our past does not define our future.
