Katar Bari is a small village of 5185 hectares in Sujangarh Tehsil in Churu district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Katar Bari depends on SUJANGARH, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Katar Bari is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tubewell. Katar Bari's pin code is 331517[4], and village code is 00652200. The area of Katar Bari is segregated as 90.3 hectares irrigated area, 4966.55 hectares unirrigated, the 34.4 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 94.08 hectare area not available for cultivation.
