Kashipura is a small village of 312 hectares in Bassi Tehsil in Jaipur district, also known as the Pink City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Kashipura depends on Jaipur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, Two Wells supply, which is 115.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Kashipura is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Kashipura's pin code is 303908[4], and village code is 01618600. The area of Kashipura is segregated as 115 hectares irrigated area, 86 hectares unirrigated, the 27 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 84 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Jaipur and Jaipur to sell cot and make their living.
