Karwara is a small village of 880 hectares in Marwar Junction Tehsil in Pali district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Karwara depends on Sojat, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 20.00% of the total supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, One canal and Two springs. Karwara is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Karwara's pin code is 306022[4], and village code is 02453600. The area of Karwara is segregated as 89 hectares irrigated area, 18 hectares unirrigated, the 66 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 40 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Sojat and Pali to sell ghee and make their living.
