Karwala is a small village of 1118 hectares in Keshoraipatan Tehsil in Bundi district, also known as a city of stepwells in the State of Rajasthan, India.[1] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Karwala depends on KESHORAIPATAN, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[2] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Karwala is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Karwala's pin code is 323602[3], and village code is 02747200. The area of Karwala is segregated as 457 hectares irrigated area, 216 hectares unirrigated, the 156 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 289.23 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Karwala is a census village in the district of Bundi, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1773 and has total administration over 362 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of KESHORAIPATAN and Bundi to sell earthen pots and make their living.
