Karthika Vellathery (born 11th May 1996) is an Indian actor and dubbing artist predominantly working in Malayalam movies. She is a classical dancer trained in Kathakali, Mohiniyattam and Ottan Thullal since childhood and has been a regular winner in competitions conducted by Kerala government's state school Kerala School Kalolsavam across multiple years.

Early Life & Education

Karthika is a Thrissur native. She completed her Bachelors in engineering. Her parents are Babu Vellathery, a businessman and Suja Babu, a housewife. She is currently based out of Ernakulam and Trissur.

Acting Career

Karthika began her career with a chunky role as Aryambika in Argentina Fans Kaattoorkadavu. She continued her acting in 2019 taking up character roles in movies like Adhyarathri, wherein she co-starred with Biju Menon. Before lockdown, she had applied for a casting call and ended up bagging the lead role of Ashwathy, in the movie Sumesh and Ramesh alongside Sreenath Bhasi, Praveena and Salim Kumar that released in December 2021. She has been garnering praises for her portrayal of the role & comic timing.
