Karsana is a small village of 889 hectares in Dungla Tehsil in Chittorgarh district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Karsana depends on Kanor, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, Two Wells supply, which is 59.52% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Karsana is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Karsana's pin code is 312404[4], and village code is 03645100. The area of Karsana is segregated as 123.15 hectares irrigated area, 377.21 hectares unirrigated, the 292.26 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 96.6 hectare area not available for cultivation.
