Karola is a small village of 2650 hectares in Sanchore Tehsil in Jalor district, also known as Granite City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Karola depends on SANCHORE, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Karola is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tubewell. Karola's pin code is 343041[4], and village code is 02328400. The area of Karola is segregated as 1015 hectares irrigated area, 643 hectares unirrigated, the 301 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 691 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of SANCHORE and Jalor to sell wood furniture and make their living.
