Karniyali is a small village of 1544 hectares in Luni Tehsil in Jodhpur district, also known as the Blue City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Karniyali depends on Jodhpur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Karniyali is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tanker. Karniyali's pin code is 342802[4], and village code is 02002000. The area of Karniyali is segregated as 164 hectares irrigated area, 818.4 hectares unirrigated, the 160 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 402 hectare area not available for cultivation.

The village is connected with a single bus service. Karniyali has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Karniyali is a census village in the district of Jodhpur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 985 and has total administration over 203 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Jodhpur to sell ghee and make their living.
