Karjali is a small village of 1447 hectares in Kapasan Tehsil in Chittorgarh district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Karjali depends on Kapasan, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Karjali is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Karjali's pin code is 312205[4], and village code is 03635100. The area of Karjali is segregated as 92.69 hectares irrigated area, 573.98 hectares unirrigated, the 678.93 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 101.82 hectare area not available for cultivation.
