Karis Lovechild is an American singer, songwriter and actress.

Early Life and Career Beginnings:

Karis Lovechild was born and raised in Baltimore, Md. As an adolescent, she performed in several singing competitions. In 2010, she landed a gig as the background singer and bass guitarist with former all woman Alternative/Rock band, Mzery Loves Company, [1]now known as "Eat The Cake Band". While in the band she featured on other projects, including collaboration with Pop/Electric artist, Illmatic Scream for "She's A Rockstar", "War on The Dance Floor", "Just Say Hello" and "She's So Addictive". After 4 years, Karis left the band and moved to Las Vegas, NV to pursue a solo music career. In Las Vegas, Karis joined a cover band. This union ended quickly when she decided to focus on recording her debut album and relocate to Philadelphia, Pa.

The first single Karis released was "Jupiter Rise" which quickly gained momentum on soundcloud with now over 35,000 world-wide streams. On November 1st, 2014 Karis released her debut album entitled "Lovechild", but after 2 years deleted it from all streaming platforms because she didn't receive royalties. However, this album served as a major embark for her blossoming music career and eventually was re-released on her personal website for $1,000[2]and band camp. [3]

In 2015, Karis relocated to Atlanta, Ga. In 2016, she created and launched plant based feminine health brand, Pussi Potions. While building the brand, she continued to write and record music. Her debut EP entitled "Girl" was released on soundcloud in 2018. From 2018-2019 she headlined tour "The Secret of The Pearl" with HBO's Real Sex[4] documentary feature, [Punany Poets;]] an adult sex-ed theatre company now known as, H.I.P Inc.[5] While on tour she was seen on Power 105.1 The Breakfast Club with Punany Poets.[6] After touring, Karis pursed a second and successful online launch of her company, Pussi Potions.

Karis Lovechild released a second EP "PINk" exclusively on band camp in December 2018 [7]. On January 11, 2019 the 5 record EP "PINk" was released to the public on all streaming services including Spotify, Apple Music and Tidal.

November 2019, Karis relocated to Los Angeles, California where she currently resides. While living in California, Karis released R&B single "Autumn Leaves" and Electronic/Dance/Pop single "Elektrify" Since, she's released several music videos, a second book titled; Memoir "Me: From Pain to Purpose" and hosts a self-help podcast entitled "The Pussi Power Podcast".
