Karchha Kalan is a small village of 937 hectares in Kherwara Tehsil in Udaipur district in the state of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Karchha Kalan depends on Kherwara Chhaoni, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 11.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Karchha Kalan is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Karchha Kalan's pin code is 313803[4], and village code is 03274900. The area of Karchha Kalan is segregated as 26 hectares irrigated area, 307 hectares unirrigated, the 226 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 81.96 hectare area not available for cultivation.
