Karaundi Kalan is a small village of 52.12 hectares in Nawabganj Tehsil in Barabanki district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Karaundi Kalan depends on Satrikh (NP), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply, One tank, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sourcesOne canal. Karaundi Kalan is also near byOne lake. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Karaundi Kalan's pin code is 225121[4], and village code is 05770200.
