Karangarh is a small village of 162 hectares in Bassi Tehsil in Jaipur district, also known as the Pink City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Karangarh depends on Dausa, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 72.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Karangarh is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Karangarh's pin code is 303302[4], and village code is 01620900. The area of Karangarh is segregated as 72 hectares irrigated area, 26 hectares unirrigated, the 21 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 43 hectare area not available for cultivation.
