Karan Madhok is an Indian author and journalist.Madhok was born in Varanasi[1] (India). He first novel A Beautiful Decay was published by the Aleph Book Company in 2022[2]. He is also the founder and editor of the Indian Arts Review, The Chakkar[2].

Education and Career

Madhok is a graduate of the MFA programme from the American University in Washington D.C., where he won the University's 2018 Myra Skralew Award for the best MFA Thesis (prose)[3].

His short story "Public Record" appeared appeared in the anthology A Case of Indian Marvels: Dazzling Stories from the Country’s Finest New Writers[4] (Aleph Book Company 2022), edited by David Davidar. His debut novel A Beautiful Decay was published by the Aleph Book Company in 2022.
