Karam Wala is a small village of 3999 hectares in Jaisalmer Tehsil in Jaisalmer district, nicknamed ""The Golden city"" in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Karam Wala depends on JAISALMER, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Karam Wala is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Karam Wala's pin code is 345034[4], and village code is 02034600. The area of Karam Wala is segregated as 3992.87 hectares unirrigated, remaining 5.92 hectare area not available for cultivation.
