Kaparda is a small village of 3682 hectares in Bilara Tehsil in Jodhpur district, also known as the Blue City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Kaparda depends on Pipar City, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 81.10% of the total supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Kaparda is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Kaparda's pin code is 342605[4], and village code is 02008800. The area of Kaparda is segregated as 147.3 hectares irrigated area, 2472.02 hectares unirrigated, the 716.04 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 347.09 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Pipar City and Jodhpur to sell lime stone and make their living.
