Kanwara is a small village of 2300 hectares in Banda Tehsil in Banda district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Kanwara depends on Banda (MB), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply, One tubewell and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river,One canal. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Kanwara's pin code is 210001[4], and village code is 04794500. The area of Kanwara is segregated as 542 hectares irrigated area, 1258 hectares unirrigated area. the 26 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves) and remaining 501 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Kanwara has One post office (Kanwara B.O). Kanwara has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Banda (MB) and Banda to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
