Kansera is a small village of 609 hectares in Nawa Tehsil in Nagaur district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Kansera depends on Nawa, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 75.00% of the total supply, One tank, One tubewell, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Kansera is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tubewell. Kansera's pin code is 341504[4], and village code is 01902300. The area of Kansera is segregated as 75 hectares irrigated area, 381 hectares unirrigated, remaining 44.35 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Kansera is a census village in the district of Nagaur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1762 and has total administration over 262 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Nawa and Nagaur to sell earthen pots and make their living.
