Kanor is a small village of 715 hectares in Baytoo Tehsil in Barmer district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Kanor depends on BARMER, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Kanor is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Kanor's pin code is 344034[4], and village code is 02113600. The area of Kanor is segregated as 625.89 hectares unirrigated, the 50.57 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 38.2 hectare area not available for cultivation.
