Kanji Ka Gara is a small village of 128 hectares in Ghatol Tehsil in Banswara district, also known as City of Hundred Islands in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Kanji Ka Gara depends on Banswara, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, One canal and Two springs. Kanji Ka Gara is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Kanji Ka Gara's pin code is 327021[4], and village code is 03389300. The area of Kanji Ka Gara is segregated as 54.03 hectares irrigated area, 44.07 hectares unirrigated, remaining 30.19 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Banswara to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
