Kangar is a small village of 2795 hectares in Ratangarh Tehsil in Churu district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Kangar depends on RATANGARH, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 557.39% of the total supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Kangar is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Kangar's pin code is 331504[4], and village code is 00643200. They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of RATANGARH and Churu to sell furniture and make their living.
