Kanera is a small village of 164 hectares in Bah Tehsil in Agra district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Kanera depends on Bah (MB), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Kanera's pin code is 283113[4], and village code is 01646300. The area of Kanera is segregated as 99 hectares irrigated area, 46 hectares unirrigated, the 11.9 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 10 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Kanera has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Kanera is a census village in the district of Agra, Uttar Pradesh. The village has a total population of 740 and has total administration over 109 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Bah (MB) and Agra to sell milk solid and make their living.
