Kanechhan Kalan is a small village of 3192 hectares in Shahpura Tehsil in Bhilwara district, also known as the Textile City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Kanechhan Kalan depends on Shahpura, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Kanechhan Kalan is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Kanechhan Kalan's pin code is 311407[4], and village code is 02813900. The area of Kanechhan Kalan is segregated as 221.2 hectares irrigated area, 1368.25 hectares unirrigated, the 633.86 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 968.83 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Shahpura and Bhilwara to sell earthen pot and make their living.
