Muhammed Kamil Abdul-Qahar (born August 12, 1996) is an American actor from North Carolina.[1]. He began his career modeling in 2021, before debuting with the OpenStage Theatre Company in 2022 in the stage production of The Christians by Lucas Hnath.[2]. His performance as "Associate Pastor Joshua" was praised, with his portrayal noted as being "played with conviction & youthfullness".[3]
Qahar has since appeared in the Max miniseries Full Circle (2023).[4] and an uncredited role in the Please Don't Destroy film Please Don't Destroy: The Treasure of Foggy Mountain (2023). He is currently set to appear in the upcoming film Unstoppable (2024) [5] starring Jharrel Jerome, Don Cheadle, & Jennifer Lopez.
Early Life
In 2019, Kamil Qahar graduated from High Point University in High Point, North Carolina. Graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Film Production, Qahar attended high school[6] & university living in poverty & homelessness with his siblings.[7][8]
While attending high school at High Point Central High School, Qahar played American Football, Basketball, and Track & Field.[8][9][10]
