Kamalpura is a small village of 512 hectares in Weir Tehsil in Bharatpur district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Kamalpura depends on Mahwa, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Kamalpura is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Kamalpura's pin code is 321407[4], and village code is 01055800. The area of Kamalpura is segregated as 285 hectares irrigated area, 126 hectares unirrigated, the 53 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 46 hectare area not available for cultivation.
