Kama Basni is a small village of 209 hectares in Merta Tehsil in Nagaur district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Kama Basni depends on Merta City, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, Two Wells supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Kama Basni is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Kama Basni's pin code is 341510[4], and village code is 01833200. The area of Kama Basni is segregated as 31.56 hectares irrigated area, 152.53 hectares unirrigated, the 13.39 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 11.27 hectare area not available for cultivation.
