Kalwari is a small village of 355 hectares in Todabhim Tehsil in Karauli district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Kalwari depends on HINDAUN, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 86.91% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Kalwari is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Kalwari's pin code is 322220[4], and village code is 01194400. The area of Kalwari is segregated as 156.91 hectares irrigated area, 84.72 hectares unirrigated, the 72.63 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 40.25 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of HINDAUN and Karauli to sell earthen pots and make their living.
