Kalwari is a small village of 1155 hectares in Kathumar Tehsil in Alwar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Kalwari depends on KHERLI, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Kalwari is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Kalwari's pin code is 321606[4], and village code is 00949200. The area of Kalwari is segregated as 1018 hectares irrigated area, 38 hectares unirrigated, the 11 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 88 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of KHERLI and Alwar to sell earthen pot and make their living.
