Kalwan is a small village of 1190 hectares in Sikrai Tehsil in Dausa district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Kalwan depends on Bandikui, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, Two Wells supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Kalwan is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Kalwan's pin code is 303508[4], and village code is 01384800. The area of Kalwan is segregated as 286 hectares irrigated area, 452 hectares unirrigated, the 79 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 315 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Kalwan has One post office (Kalwan B.O). Kalwan has Two banks, One credit society and One agricultural credit society for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Kalwan is a census village in the district of Dausa, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 4363 and has total administration over 787 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Bandikui and Dausa to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
