Kalwa Bara is a small village of 2200 hectares in Makrana Tehsil in Nagaur district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Kalwa Bara depends on Makrana, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 15.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Kalwa Bara is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Kalwa Bara's pin code is 341502[4], and village code is 01883100. The area of Kalwa Bara is segregated as 15 hectares irrigated area, 1997.28 hectares unirrigated, remaining 188 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Makrana and Nagaur to sell earthen pots and make their living.
