Kalwa is a small village of 631 hectares in Lachhmangarh Tehsil in Sikar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Kalwa depends on Lachhmangarh, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, Two Wells supply, which is 97.70% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Kalwa is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tubewell. Kalwa's pin code is 332029[4], and village code is 01678300. The area of Kalwa is segregated as 97.7 hectares irrigated area, 451.76 hectares unirrigated, the 67.82 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 13.94 hectare area not available for cultivation.
