It is the oldest devasthanam especially the idol of Swami is three feet high and facing the north direction. The people of the town claim that the idol in these temples was also installed by the Madwa tribe Vedanta Pradhana Acharya Parahamasa parivrajacharya Vedanta Acharya Sri vyasa Raya tirtha Sri Vyasaraya. Due to some unavoidable reasons, this temple has lost its place in time, but on 25th November 1905, Sri Veluri Venkateswara Acharya, a brahmachari of Madwa tribe tribe, brought light to this temple and used to see the affairs of Deeparadhana Naivedya by planting some fruit trees in the premises of this temple and offering those fruits to the Lord as alms. The Pongalini fruit as an offering is first given to the rains i.e. monkeys and the rest is used for the devotees as this temple is on the bank of the canal, the bank of the canal is known as Anjaneya Swamy. Stay in There were all the kampa trees and it was in a very advanced condition. But Sri Venkateswara Acharyas managed this temple according to a method and started the development of the temple. After Sri Venkateswara Acharyas spent time in the year 1968, the Bhaskara clansmen who were local Paurohiturohirohita priests were doing Puja Dhupa Deepa offerings and then some village elders with the help of devotees have been walking in the development of this temple till now. Locals say that even now a deity snake comes to this temple of the Lord and visits the Lord. This is witnessed by the priests and attendants who live in the vicinity. Vaikuntha Ekadashi and Dussehra and Ugadi Sri Ram Navami and Hanumat Jayanti are celebrated in this Kaluva Gadda Anjaneyaswamy temple and this devasthanam is also known as Srivari which is like golden shrivari which fulfills the desires of any devotee who is sick or suffering from any kind of problems and bows down to Sri Swamivari with determination and performs pradakshinas.
