Kalsara is a small village of 841 hectares in Alwar Tehsil in Alwar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Kalsara depends on ALWAR, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 300.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Kalsara is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Kalsara's pin code is 301406[4], and village code is 00863000. The area of Kalsara is segregated as 379 hectares irrigated area, 430 hectares unirrigated, remaining 32 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Kalsara is a census village in the district of Alwar, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 4724 and has total administration over 831 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Alwar to sell earthen pot and make their living.
