Kalran is a small village of 1097 hectares in Phalodi Tehsil in Jodhpur district, also known as the Blue City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Kalran depends on Phalodi, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, Two Wells supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Kalran is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Kalran's pin code is 342301[4], and village code is 01921300. The area of Kalran is segregated as 52.28 hectares irrigated area, 952.23 hectares unirrigated, the 16.48 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 76.17 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Kalran is a census village in the district of Jodhpur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1987 and has total administration over 328 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.
