Kalmodiya is a small village of 244 hectares in Chhipabarod Tehsil in Baran district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Kalmodiya depends on Aklera, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 117.07% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, Two canals and Two springs. Kalmodiya is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Kalmodiya's pin code is 325221[4], and village code is 03971000. The area of Kalmodiya is segregated as 117.07 hectares irrigated area, 44.12 hectares unirrigated, the 17.77 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 19.03 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Aklera and Baran to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
