Kali Talai is a small village of 310 hectares in Pachpahar Tehsil in Jhalawar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Kali Talai depends on Bhawani Mandi, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Kali Talai is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Kali Talai's pin code is 326502[4], and village code is 04087800. The area of Kali Talai is segregated as 55.73 hectares irrigated area, 141.81 hectares unirrigated, the 104.26 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 8.45 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Bhawani Mandi and Jhalawar to sell ghee and make their living.
