Kalgaon is a small village of 466 hectares in Buhana Tehsil in Jhunjhunu district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Kalgaon depends on CHIRAWA, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, Two Wells supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Kalgaon is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tubewell. Kalgaon's pin code is 333502[4], and village code is 00715400. The area of Kalgaon is segregated as 173 hectares irrigated area, 251 hectares unirrigated, the 20.74 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 21 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Kalgaon is a census village in the district of Jhunjhunu, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 2068 and has total administration over 355 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.
