Kaler is a small village of 1373 hectares in Thanagazi Tehsil in Alwar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Kaler depends on DAUSA, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, Two canals and Two springs. Kaler is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Kaler's pin code is 301027[4], and village code is 00890700. The area of Kaler is segregated as 103 hectares irrigated area, 130 hectares unirrigated, the 230 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 509 hectare area not available for cultivation.
