Kalai is a small village of 382 hectares in Koil Tehsil in Aligarh district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Kalai depends on H.GANJ, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sourcesOne canal. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. The area of Kalai is segregated as 344.4 hectares irrigated area, 3 hectares unirrigated area. the 24 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 35.6 hectare area not available for cultivation.
