Kala Gurha is a small village of 2547 hectares in Sapotra Tehsil in Karauli district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Kala Gurha depends on GANGAPUR CITY, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, Two canals and Two springs. Kala Gurha is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Kala Gurha's pin code is 322218[4], and village code is 01250600. The area of Kala Gurha is segregated as 75.71 hectares irrigated area, 306.97 hectares unirrigated, the 198.86 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 91.05 hectare area not available for cultivation.
