Kala Guman is a small village of 867 hectares in Bhim Tehsil in Rajsamand district, is known for Rajsamand Lake, an artificial lake created in the 17th century by Rana Raj Singh of Mewar in the state of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Kala Guman depends on AMET, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Kala Guman is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Kala Guman's pin code is 313333[4], and village code is 02969100. The area of Kala Guman is segregated as 57.1 hectares irrigated area, 105.15 hectares unirrigated, the 199.2 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 505.31 hectare area not available for cultivation.
